Designed to make digital signage more accessible and cost-effective, this program invites you to leverage your own hardware to run Screenly’s powerful digital signage software.
Why BYOD with Screenly?
At Screenly, we’re always looking for ways to lower the barriers to adopting and deploying digital signage solutions. We understand that every organization has unique needs and resources. That’s why we’re introducing our BYOD program, allowing you to bring your own PCs to power your Screenly displays. This initiative not only helps to reduce upfront costs but also enables brownfield deployments, making it easier to integrate Screenly into your existing setups.
Technical Requirements:
To ensure a smooth and reliable experience, we’ve established the following minimum technical specifications for BYOD participants:
- SSD: 128GB or larger
- RAM: 8GB or more
- CPU: Intel i3 or faster (or equivalent AMD)
- TPM 2.0 support
- Secure Boot support
While the BYOD program is hardware-agnostic, we’ve found that newer generation Intel NUCs work particularly well with Screenly.
Program Details:
- Minimum License Requirement: 50 licenses
- Beta Program: Selected participants will receive a disk image to install on their devices.
- Support: All BYOD hardware will initially run as unsupported. However, we’re excited to announce plans for a certified program where users can have their hardware officially certified for use with Screenly, for a fee.
